About Our Pastors
Pastors Samuel J. Casey and Tamika R. Casey are the founding pastors of New Life Christian Church in Fontana, California. The Lord led them to launch this dynamic ministry in October of 2013. Pastor Samuel J. Casey began his ministry in 1993 at Mt. Olive 2nd M.B.C. under the leadership of Pastor E. Winford Bell. Pastor Samuel preached his first sermon on Sunday, November 7, 1993; his first sermon was emblematic of a battle of his life, "You Can Run, But You Can't Hide," from the book of Jonah. He and Tamika were both active members under the covering of Pastor E. Winford Bell. Pastor Samuel J. Casey was licensed at Mt. Olive 2nd M.B.C. in 1994 and ordained in 2002.

TEACHING PEOPLE TO LOVE GOD, LOVE THEMSELVES AND LOVE OTHERS
New Life Christian Church exists to Reach our community with the love of Christ, Prepare disciples to discover their gift(s), Equip the saints for the work of ministry, and Send disciples into the world.
In 2001, the Lord relocated Pastor Casey and his family to Imani Christian Cathedral under Bishop Jelani F. Kafela, where he served as the Assistant Pastor to Bishop Kafela. It was at Imani Christian Cathedral where Pastor Tamika Casey accepted her call to the ministry and began growing under the leadership of Bishop Jelani Kafela. Pastor Tamika Casey was licensed at Imani in 2002 and ordained in 2008. She served as the Youth Pastor in the Imani Power Generation Youth Church for several years and was instrumental in the success of that ministry.
Pastors Samuel and Tamika Casey have three children. Samantha and Tamia, who both attended Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, and their youngest, Kourtny, currently work in the Non-profit space serving them in the community.Â
THE NEW LIFE STORY
Â
In the vibrant heart of Fontana, California, New Life Christian Church emerged from a shared vision of Pastors Samuel J. Casey and Tamika R. Casey. Guided by the Holy Spirit, they founded the church in October 2013, marking the beginning of a dynamic ministry aimed at transforming lives through faith and action. Their journey into ministry, nurtured under the spiritual leadership of Pastor E. Winford Bell at Mt. Olive 2nd MBC and later under Bishop Jelani F. Kafela at Imani Christian Cathedral, laid a strong foundation for their future endeavors. Pastor Samuel, with a ministry spanning over two decades, and Pastor Tamika, who embraced her calling at Imani and flourished as a Youth Pastor, brought their deep faith and leadership skills to the forefront of this new chapter.
The formation of New Life Christian Church was a divine response to the longing for a community where the transformative power of Christ’s love could be lived out daily. The Casey household became the birthing room for this vision, with seven pioneering families uniting in prayer and commitment to establish a church grounded in the principles of faith, hope, and love. These families, led by the spiritual and administrative guidance of Deacons Ronald and Lena Robinson, Elders Donald and Kim Dozier, Elder Lavar and Eboni Freeman, Anthony and Annabel Vega, Curtis and Elder Christy Robinzine, and Momma Bobbie Casey, were instrumental in laying the church’s foundational values.
The church’s inaugural worship service on Super Bowl Sunday, February 2, 2014, was a manifestation of the community’s enthusiasm and support, quickly outgrowing its initial gathering space at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and moving to the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. It wasn’t long before the welcoming doors of our current location opened, thanks to the partnership and support of Rev. Dr. Delroy Brooks of Juniper Avenue SDA, providing a permanent home for our Christ-centered, Word-inspired, and Holy Spirit-led services.
Over the past ten years, New Life Christian Church has been a testament to God’s faithfulness, navigating challenges and celebrating triumphs with grace and perseverance. Our mission, "To Change Lives... Make Disciples!", has been realized through various ministries and outreach programs, touching the lives of countless individuals and families. From hosting vibrant worship services to serving the community as a COVID Vaccination site, from advocating for social justice to providing essential services to those in need, New Life has been a beacon of hope and a force for positive change in Fontana and beyond.
Â
As we commemorate this decade of divine guidance and community building, we look forward with anticipation to the next phase of our journey. Our vision for the future includes securing a New Life Worship Facility/Life Community Connection Center, expanding our outreach, and deepening our impact within the community. This next chapter of growth and service is driven by our enduring commitment to filling the gaps for those in need, creating a legacy of love, support, and transformation.
Â
We are immensely grateful for every member, partner, and friend who has joined us in this journey. Your faith, support, and dedication have been the pillars of our success. Together, we celebrate the past and embrace the future, committed to our mission of changing lives and making disciples, in the hope of creating a world where love and faith know no bounds.
